Hercules and Recreativo Huelva fans clashed before their third division match at the Jose Rico Perez stadium in Alicante on Saturday.
The fighting took place in a square called Plaza Padre Fontova, about 10 minutes walk to the ground.
Eleven people were arrested – six Hercules fans and five Recreativo Huelva fans.
