Corinthians fans clashed with police inside the Maracana stadium prior to their side’s match with Flamengo on Sunday.
The fighting erupted when cops entered the stands to quieten Corinthians fans, who were trying to get at their Flamengo counterparts.
42 Corinthians fans were arrested as a result.
