A Bulgarian league match between Lokomotiv Plovdiv and CSKA Sofia at the Lokomotiv Stadium was halted for 20 minutes on Sunday after a massive brawl broke out between rival fans.
Four minutes before the end of the first half, Lokomotiv hooligans invaded the running track surrounding the pitch and headed towards the CSKA end. Seeing this, dozens of CSKA hooligans also spilled on to the running track and fighting broke out.
There were also several members of Spartak Moscow’s hooligan firm called Banda Tuka [Tuk’s gang] who were fighting on the side of Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
Order was restored only after police intervention.
11 people were arrested, including two from Russia, according to local media.
