Trouble started when a large crowd of fans tried to enter a packed fan zone to watch the Euro 2016 final match, but them was denied entry to the fan zone.
Riot police used tear gas and a water cannon to drive back the angry fans trying to break into the fan zone.
More than 50 fans were detained during the clashes.
