Marseille descended into chaos again during clashes between England fans and Russian hools ahead of their opening match.
French riot police used a water cannon, tear gas, dogs and batons to try to regain control between the rival fans.
Two England fans were in a critical condition and more than 20 were injured after the battles in the square and on side streets.
