Hallescher fans caused trouble at Friday’s fourth division match against Carl Zeiss Jena at the Ernst-Abbe Sportfeld.
With Hallescher trailing 2-0 at half-time, a group of away fans invaded the area between the stands and the advertising boards and charged towards the home end to confront their Carl Zeiss Jena counterparts.
Stewards tried to stop the troublemakers but were overpowered.
A number of Carl Zeiss Jena fans also jumped out of the stands and a brief fight ensued.
Riot police eventually restored order by forcing the Hallescher fans back into the away stand.
