RW Essen fans cause trouble at Osnabruck

Rot-Weiss Essen fans caused trouble following their 3. Liga match against Osnabruck on Sunday.

Just after the final whistle of the game, which Osnabruck won 2-0, around three dozen RWE fans broke out of the away end of the Bremer Brucke stadium and into the area between the stands and the pitch. Some of them then entered the home section, sparking a brief scuffle with stewards and Osnabruck fans.

Riot police soon intervened and forced the RWE fans back into their end.
