Olympiacos fans clashed with riot police at the Panthessaliko Stadium during Sunday’s Greek Super League match against Volos.
Broken seats, plastic bottles and cans were thrown towards the pitch from the Olympiacos end after an Olympiacos goal in the 88th minute was ruled out for offside, and the score remained level at 2-2.
A number of furious Olympiacos fans then entered the running track around the pitch and clashed with riot police, who used tear gas.
Players from both teams were forced to leave the pitch due to the effects of the gas.
After about an hour, the referee brought the teams back onto the pitch to finish the game, which ended 2-2.
