Fans of Paganese and Casertana clashed in the town of Pagani, around 40km from Naples, ahead of their teams’ Serie D match on Sunday.
The clashes took place not far from Pagani’s Marcello Torre stadium about half an hour before the start of the match.
Two Casertana fans were reportedly injured. No arrests were made.
A Casertana fans coach was destroyed after its roof caught fire during the fighting.
