GKS Tychy’s home match against Ruch Chorzow was briefly halted on Saturday because of trouble in the stands.
Trouble broke out in the second half of the match as a group of GKS Tychy fans tried to get to Ruch fans who had set a captured GKS Tychy flag on fire in their end.
Riot police quickly intervened to prevent the group from reaching the away fans. The GKS Tychy fans then turned on the police, throwing broken seats.
One GKS Tychy fan also ran across the corner of the pitch in an attempt to reach the away end but was grabbed by a steward.
Two fans were arrested, according to local media reports.
